KISS' Paul Stanley says the band might create a theme song for his new Arena Football team.
The rocker tells UltimateClassicRock.com he wants them to "come up with something that will be the battle cry," and not just represent LA KISS but also the fans. He explains that the fans are integral to the team's success, and they "can't win without those people."
Gene Simmons, who's also a co-owner of the team, adds that they intend to give their audience "the ultimate fan experience." He explains that tickets will be affordable, players will be accessible, and they'll be putting on "the wildest sports show" people have ever seen. Simmons adds that L.A. Kiss is "going to win, too."
Simmons and Stanley were on hand for team unveiling event in Anaheim, California on Monday. The public got its first look at the uniforms -- including the flaming helmets -- and the cheerleaders.
Stanley told Fox Sports there is "nothing subtle here," explaining that the players are "superheroes" who will be dressed for "battle in the 21st century." Even the playing surface is different. LA KISS' home turf is a silver football field.
LA KISS launches its inaugural season in a game against San Antonio in Texas this Saturday. The team will face Portland in their first home game, which will air on CBS on April 5th.
